January 2021 : Risk of water damage
It is feared that many water supply pipes are still equipped with the plastic fitting which was originally installed upon buiding construction.
As time goes, failure of these fittings (sleeves) is more and more likely to occur and would lead to water flood.
The Co-ownership council recommends that every owner checks that this fitting has been replaced by a metal fitting and to confirm it is the case.

In case of difficulties for the owners to check their installation by themeselves, they can ask local pumbers to intervene.
January 2021 : Malfunction of the Controlled Ventilation System
Malfunctions of the Controlled Ventilation System have been reported.
Reasons for malfunctions are likely to be caused by dirt in the pipings, plugged hoods, insufficient spacing under inside doors and narrowed air intakes.
The Co-ownership council recommends that every owner carries an inspection of his system.
A message from each owner confirming that the inspection has been completed with indication of the result would help to have better assessment of the general condition of the system, before launching works which could be costly.
